Guess what - I just got a ti-graph link. I haven't downloaded anything yet. Do you know any good downloading sites?

Can I download C games? Also, if I can, do I just run them like a normal BASIC game? (Again sorry for double-posting). Just thought of this. I'll try to think before I post more.

Do I really have to say this? TICALC.ORG, obviously!
Did you install TI-Connect? (Or whatever is used for the TI-86)

You cannot download C games. If you downloaded a link connection program and installed the link cable, this, or this would be a good starting point. Also this on-calc compiler caught my eye. *Sigh* It must be great having a TI-86!

When I was about to download some games, it said "some files look suspicious...they could harm your computer...etc. Are they really harmful?

No files are harmful; my computer always does this when it downloads a .ZIP file! Please download this!

There should be some "Continue Anyway" sort of button. Bcherry; I am no TI-86 game expert, but I think that this is a more updated version of the game that you were talking about than this.

Ok, first to deal with Vladik's post. The first program you mention is not a more recent version of the game i linked. Yours is by a different author, Ben Mickle. Mine is the classic Bill Nagel version of unending praise, and is widely regarded as the greatest ti-86 game of all time. I have never heard of the Mickle version, but I doubt it is quite as good as the Nagel one. Anyways, the last program you mention is the "Game Genie" version that Morgan helped make a few years ago that lets you cheat. (If you don't know, Morgan, a previous ticalc.org staff member, worships the game, and has for a while.) On to bfr: When you plug your calculator into the computer, it doesnt show up as a drive that you can drag and drop onto, the way that a usb thumb drive would. Instead, you need the Ti Connect software, which will allow you to send the programs to your calculator. If you still cannot make it work, repost and I (or whoever reads it first) will be glad to walk you through it. Good Luck!

I got the ti-connect software, but nothing happens when I select the ti-stuff from "my documents". (Sorry Vladik, not enough time for the ti-85 software stuff).

Do you have the TI-Connect icon on your Desktop?
Then plug in your cable (if it is not plugged in), connect your calculator, go to the home screen (the screen on your calculator where you can type in "7+5" and get the answer), and drag the program (ending in 86*) to the TI-Connect icon on your Desktop.
