You mean source-codes. In the Submit Some Source section.

Oh yeah. Sorry for the tons of mistakes I've been making. If you want to, you may move this to Source. OH, and everybody, I just finished looking at a brief discription of a game by bcherry (or something like that). So far, the game seems excellent.

Moved to the source. Jet Blaster Mach II was pretty nice.

Well, I just finished making a game on my ti-86 (no 68k asm...) with BASIC. You try to shoot the bad guys with your "lazer". There are a few "normal" bad guys that when you shoot them, you gain a life. Then there is "The Boss" that has a super lazer that when shot can make you lose up to two lives (the other bad guys' lazers only make you lose 1) You win when you defeat the boss. You lose when you either run out of time or lose all of your lives (you start with three lives and start with 50 seconds). Then I added a feature that enables a person who has previously quit playing in the middle of the game to continue almost exactly where they started with the same stats.
There is also a cheat that allows you to choose the amount of lives you have (using prompt-I really like that command). But you must know a code to access the cheat.
Also, I sometimes type fast and make frequent spelling errors in case there were any.
Oh, but for some reason I don't think my mom would let me register on ticalc.org so you all might not be able to download it.
But I might right the whole thing out on this forum under "the source" when I have a lot of time.

haha, you should try and get a graph-link. Then you wont have to rewrite it on the comp. But if you write it out, I'm sure I (or Vladik) would be more than happy to submit it to ticalc.org with your name as the author on our accounts for you (if you cant get one of your own).

maybe. Does anyone know how much a ti-grasphlink costs? If I save up enough money I could probably buy one. Maybe I coulg persuade my mom to lend me a couple of dollars... Then I would almost DEFINATELY submit my program to ticalc.org

After re-reading my discription of my game, ny mistake I wrote that the normal bad guys' lasers make you lose all of your lives. They actually make you lose 1 life. big difference.

There IS an edit function.
You can't program on a TI-86 (a Z80) with 68K assembly; 68k assembly is for 68k calculators, so you can only program in Z80 ASM.

From TI it costs $20 (plus shipping and handling) while on E-Bay it costs $10 (with shipping and handling).
P.S. bfr-I could hook you up with an account (just PM or E-Mail me) I'll send you your password in a PM.

Bcherry; the USB cable doesn't work with the TI-86.

Oh; it does.
I was thinking of the TI-85 (the TI-86's predecessor); you need a serial cable to link with that.

Yes it does. It doesnt plug usb into the calculator, the usb goes into the computer, the cable connects through the standard link port.

Yeah; that's obvious!

Only the 89Ti has a UBS port on the calc.

But the point is an 86 can use this cable, because it still goes into the standard link port, regardless of whether it has usb or not.
Thanks for the pic compliment (proper term is avatar for whatever reason) I was bored so I spent a few minutes just now and made it.
