I am working on a TI-86 BASIC racing program where you will be able to race against other car(s) and hopefully against another person (using the link cable). It will have multiple difficulty levels too. Race 2 should even have multiple tracks, and maybe even some ramps! Right now the player can choose from a spacecar (which has a laser ), a hummer, a motorcycle, a wagon, and a beginner's car that has good control but is slow. Look foward to high scores. Also, looks foward to Race 3, which should be in asm and be ready in (a) year(s). I started making this because the game seemed like it would turn out fun and becaus there aren't many (possible any) good TI-86 racing games where you actually race against other cars, instead of just trying to avoid crashing. I also added the laser and the boost to add a little spin to the program .

Don' t underestimate the weak power of BASIC. There are some good, fast, BASC games out there with good graphics...(I think)

Yeah, but there are more shorter, more powerful, and more useful ASM programs...
But Kevin's games seem to be the exceptions to the above rule... at least for the 83+... HEHEHE

Yes, Kevin has some MAD BAsic skills. So does the guy that made "ZOOM". I am also pretty skilled with BASIC...sort of...

I am! Also, when I was at my friend's house, some other poeple were there. They told me to make a quick game in about 5-minutes so I did. I'll try to upload it sometime. It isn't that great, but...I geuss it is fun for a game made quickly.
