I don't think TI should support sound on the calculator, because for god's sake its a CALCULATOR!!! That said, I think hacking sound through converters or splicing into your link port and then converting link port signals into sound frequencies is AWESOME!!! and the awesomeness would be lost if TI just made a calculator with a headphone port.

Omnicalc for the 83+/SE allow you to put some sound in your basic games using QBASIC-ish commands

I'd like to be able to hear the Mario theme when I play mario! Russian music with Tetris would also be a nice touch!

But no sound is part of what makes a Calculator Game unique. Put sound and call it a Game Boy! I don't think it is a gaming machine.

THe IO port on any graphing calc can be used for certain headphones. With sound programs, they work!
