If you're planning on making a Proboards code, if you want to make a good one you usually need to know some HTML and javascript DOM and the basics. Here are some common codes the what you need to know (for most cases)
PM Bar: InnerHTML, Javascript Looping
Good Affliates Boxes: HTML, Javascript (in general...)
Info Center Modifications: Javascript Looping, DOM/InnerHTML, Regular Expressions, Javascript Basics
Mini-Profile Hacks: Matching, Javascript Looping,
I'm getting tired of typing so I'll stop here and I probably forgot a bunch of stuff since I'm so sleeeeeeeeeepy..............

Nice! (The tutorial and the new stuff to the site. The last time I visited that website it didn't have the test links I think and it didn't have the hide/unhide thing.) Also, check out my short JS tutorial hereFor the heck of it, I put the code here.

Didn't I tell you not to double post? Use the modify function! And you even tripple-posted!

Also, if you're planning on making a PB code, maybe you should start off with a welcome table or something that is unique, like maybe is surrounded by an image.

Examples:
<!--Welcome Table with Highlight--> <p align="center"> <table border="1" cellpadding="2" width="70%" bordercolor="#FF0000" bordercolorlight="#FF0000" bordercolordark="#FF0000" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <tr height="15%"> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#333333"></td> </tr> <tr height="70%"> <td width="100%" onmouseover="this.style.backgroundColor='333333'" onmouseout="this.style.backgroundColor='FFFFFF'"> <center><font size="4">Welcome</font></center> <p> TEXT GOES HERE </p> </td> <tr height="15%"> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#333333"></td> </table> </p>
Image Version:
<!--Welcome Table with Highlight Img Version--> <p align="center"> <table border="1" cellpadding="2" width="70%" bordercolor="#FF0000" bordercolorlight="#FF0000" bordercolordark="#FF0000" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <tr height="15%"> <td width="100%"><img src="TOP IMAGE URL" alt="TOP IMAGE TITLE" border=0></td> </tr> <tr height="70%"> <td width="100%" onmouseover="this.style.backgroundColor='333333'" onmouseout="this.style.backgroundColor='FFFFFF'"> <center><font size="4">Welcome</font></center> <p> TEXT GOES HERE </p> </td> <tr height="15%"> <td width="100%"><img src="BOTTOM IMAGE URL" alt="BOTTOM IMAGE TITLE" border=0></td> </table> </p>

Peter from SSDesigns made the exact some thing except with text instead of images for the content.

Mine will work with anything inside of the <div> tag. It was originally text saying "hello world", but I changed it. I'm going to add it to the main site soon.

It'd be cool to put here. I have no idea what we'd use it for, but it'd be cool

Yeah, unfortunately we wouldn't want to advertise big websites like ticalc.org here, that would just draw visitors away.

Then advertise a different website! Like Anykey's, bcherry's, mine, or the VDesign website!
Also, in general, for PB codes you need to know innerHTML, if/then/else, regular expressions, and looping. Sometimes IndexOf and for stuff like hit counters and polls you'd need php or something like that.

Of course, you cannot program PHP directly on Proboards.

Meh
JS takes care of most proboards stuff, but if that isn't enough...
