Now I know you probably are all going to say "This is dumb" and "It would take too long anyway" but I think it would be cool to see who could make the coolest portal hack.
Right now, there isn't a deadline, and you all may suggest additional rules.
I'll probably make a deadline when we have at least two other members participating.
Some rules for now:
Languages you may use:
HTML/XHTML =p CSS =p Javascript VBscript =p
I think we should also allow server-side languages like asp and php but I'll leave that up to you all to decide whether we should use them or now.
Allowed Participants:
Everybody of course
I mostly made this thread because this board had so little threads and because everybody was only posting in the general board.

Should the portal be designed for Proboards?

Sure.
The Portal has to be for Proboards. If anybody doesn't like this rule I can easily change it.
Do you think that server-side languages should be allowed?

No. It is Proboards.

But maybe it shouldn't be only for Proboards - that would make the portal be able to be more flexible and server-side languages could be allowed.... Hey, there aren't the links to the extra smileys any more! I'm using Pure's skin - I think that has something to do with it. No, I'm really serious. I think that he made the links the same color as the posting place's background.

I put a <script> tag in the beginning of the code that wasn't there before.

I'm currently thinking up a design.
Pure: Are you participating?
I'm most likely going to use:
XHTML/CSS PHP Javascript
and possible XML or Perl instead of PHP.

I double-posted because people would be mode likely to post if the last post date was updated.
I decided to make two versions: A proboards JS one, and another one that is probably going to use php or asp.net
