Hey, Today I was trying to install iPod Linux on my iPod. Unfortunately, I named a file "Start.txt" instead of "Start". So, my iPod is now stuck... I'll wait until tomorrow, the battery should be dead by then (I will be able to try to reinstall).

If only I had a couple extra hundred dollars I'd try it out. Seems cool though, I'd like to see what happens.

The battery drain worked, now my iPod is charging a bit, and I will try to reinstall. It is VERY confusing to install Linux on an iPod, trust me! And if it works, I will post pictures galore! Note-this post will be updated periodically with the latest developements. Update 1: Restored the old OS. Downloading linux for the iPod again. Update 2: Found a better guikde to listen to. Linux is easier...

Oh yeah, it now works (I forgot to update) and it is quite cool. You can get more games (but not a lot). Also, I got doom, but it looks like crap on my B&W screen. It looks quite nice on the color screens, though. Also, it enables video playback in B&W or color, depending on your model (Nano users are happy .
