The Debate question is: Should all hackers and "phishers" be arrested or sued for their actions?

Depends on the severeness. If it caused a lot of damage and confusion and caused a lot of info to be lost, then maybe they should be arrested.

But, have you ever taken into consideration the magnitude of hackers in the world! Putting certain ones in jail is ruining the life of one person while failing to do the same to someone else who may have committed the same crime!

We will try to catch all of them, and then arrest them. BUt life penalties probably won't happen unless they hacked into a gov website and passed a whole buch of info and messed the website up.

that hasn't happened yet, though i am sure government sites have been hacked into before. Most hackers do not have the courage to go any further. So if i am correct, you think all of them should be arrested or fined and I think that they should only be fined.

but my point is that most hackers don't do that. But despite that, Microsoft sued 117 of them for the same amount.
