404'd! Is there a reason people would want to edit html on their calcs? Why do it on a calculator when you can do it on a computer (which lets you test it)? *doesn't download it and uses an IDE instead*

Okay, okay. I don't mean to really critical or anything, but nobody is going to download or use it if it requires you to download an IDE for some obscure form of basic, copy and paste code, and then run it. People like stand-alone executable files.
Trust me on this. I never got any downloads for my HTML Composer program because it required a python installation, and wasn't worth downloading.
If you're interested in GUIs, I'd recommend Java's Swing library and wxPython (http://wxpython.org). I've just started using both of them, and there's an unlimited number of possibilities.

Fine. But I'm making an installer thing for it anyway so it's easier.

I think that you really should make it a STAND-ALONE EXECUTABLE!!!!!

Installer? Why? Having to go through an installer is just another useless step. Your program shouldn't need to be screwing with the registry anyways. Once you start editing it, things will never be the same. Just make it a .exe file so the only thing you need to do use run it.

So the installation program just copies files.

I'm going to make it a .exe file!

Okay, but make it a stand-alone...

Of course, that's the POINT of making it a .exe file!

Of course, that's the POINT of making it a .exe file! Wit no installation, or at least I should hope so!

Of course! I'd probably make an installer only if there are a lot of things to install and/or some things are hard to install.

THERE SHOULD BE NOTHING TO INSTALL!
