I have never programmed in that language. What are the pros and cons it has over Assembly?

It is a middle-level language-you can program complex and fast programs (*cough*GAMES*cough*) but it is *almost* as easy as BASIC. Okay, it's about 10 times harder than BASIC, but 10 times EASIER than ASM.

If you have a TI-89/TI-92+/V200, there are WAY better games.

TIGCC is not a language, rather a C compiler/IDE for the 68k line of calculators. The programs that it compiles are compiled into assembly, so it is essentially the same, and for all intents and purposes is considered "assembly." There is a very minor speed gap between a TIGCC program and an authentic 68k asm program, but it is very minor. The nice thing about the C language (as compared to asm or even TI-BASIC) is the large number of online and published resources for learning. It is fairly easy to find good tutorials and learn the language. If you already know TI-BASIC, it probably will not be too difficult to learn C, though to really get at the true power of the C language requires an entirely different kind of thought that than BASIC.

I prefer the IDE! But there are more 68k games in C (Instead of ASM). By "in C", I mean "originally written in C". Obviously TIGCC is much faster that BASIC and the basics are easy to learn.
