True, but they aren't user-friendly.

no, they are WAY more user friendly than PCs, but PCs are used more, so people are more familiar with them.

Should I make an ORGANIZED debated from this?

Everybody says that Macs are more user-friendly, but not in my opinion. Macs have some good stuff though.

No, Bfr is partially right on this. Macs are more user-friendly to non-power users, but to anyone who really wants to be able to use their computer to its potential and customize things, Macs are not as good as PCs, and Windows is not as good as Linux. The mac is oversimplified, and it is hard to change things on it, plus it has no second mouse button, which i can't stand.

A friend just said this to me:
1. Computers exist to run software. 2. The ability to run software is more important than any other factor. 3. PCs support more software than Macs. 4. PCs are superior to Macs.

True, but...well, although there is less software for them and IN MY OPINION they aren't user-friendly, they have (or at least the used to) many advantages over Windows.

I'm sorry.

Actually, yes, and before they were used everywhere in buisnesses. Ask anybody who's been in america for a while. Ask anybody who programs on the computer for their job. Ask anybody who now and still uses mainframes. You've got a LOT to learn.

of course, because PCs are popular doesn't mean its better...

Um, excuse me?
I've been in "a"merica for a while?
And almost no-one programs for the mac.
And I have a lot to learn, as does anybody, because the entire knowledge of the world cannot be contained, but I obviously have less left to learn than you.
What major company uses Macs for their mainframes/servers?
That's right, nobody except for Apple and I doubt that too.
Just because an operating system is "easier to use" doesn't mean it's more powerful, bfr.
Windows has more useful programs written for it by a huge margin, popularity nonwithstanding.
