What does everyone think about the operating systems these days? Are you a person with LINUX that just loves that open-source? Of would you prefer the user-friendly Microsoft? Or are you one of those wierdos that uses Macs? (Just joking...)

You all already know what I think about Macs, but I pretty much think the same things about Linux, except that Linux also happens to be a PC OS, so that is a good thing. Windows XP and 2000 were both very good operating systems, considering, and I can't stand people who hate on MS with no rationalization. That said, if it wasn't for all of the games being Windows and Mac compatible, I would be running SuSe Linux 100%.

Linux is a user-friendly OS that, with a slip-up from Microsoft (happening with Longhorn) and a bit of retooling, could even be considered better than windows! I personally like Mac OS X the best, but Windows 2000 is the most secure, stable OS out there right now.

Let's see... My Dad's computer has XP Home, as does my Mom's. My older brother runs XP Pro, as do I on both of my computers, and I will on my laptop that is coming soon. But I used to use SuSe 9.1, which I will do again when I get around to it. The big barriers for me are Photoshop, and all Adobe applications, Trillian, iTunes, and games, though not so much games...

No, XP Pro is a very good OS, all things considered. It is much better than XP Home.
